Our order has been placed for one of the newly announced MIDAS PRO 1 mixing consoles! The desk is due to land with us during August and will be available to hire immediately across London and the UK.
Having had a demo of the console a couple of weeks ago, we new that having 48 simultaneous input processing channels, this desk would be perfect for our small to medium scale hires, and being of small footprint, will be prefect for corporate AV jobs too.
We shall also be adding the midas dl251 i/o unit, making the Midas pro 1 even more desirable.

Heinz UK called upon the services of Heathrow Sound Hire to provide sound and vision support for their 2 day event at Heathrow's Riverside Conference Venue.
With 200 delegates attending each day, we decided that 4 x D&B Audiotechnik E3 speakers would provide the best coverage in a short, but wide room.
Visuals were taken care of with two 8'x6' projector screens to the side of the stage and a 50"plasma to give some centre coverage.
The four presenters were all amplified by a Sennheiser ew500 g3 wireless microphone system each with a Sennheiser mke2 gold lapel capsule.
Questions from the floor were taken using 2 x 945 handheld mics.
The event was engineered using a Yamaha LS9 16 channel digital desk, with signal sent from stage via a single sb168-es digital stage box via CAT5.

Heathrow Sound Hire were called in to provide a PA (sound) system for the corporate hospitality area at Twickenham Stadium for the final match in the 6 Nations series between England and Ireland.
The system was required to provide reinforcement for speeches being made by guest speakers throughout the game and during dinner.
With this in mind, we decided a distributed system of 6 x D&B Audiotechnik E3 speakers powered by D12amplifiersshould be used to give even coverage throughout the area.
The speeches were made using our Sennheiser ew500 - 945 handheld wireless microphones and were controlled by a small Soundcraft mixing desk.
