Well, its been a busy week here at Heathrow Sound Hire!

On Wednesday and Thursday we had some of our kit exhibited at the Showmans Show 2011 held at Newbury showground. The event had over 5000 visitors, with  300trade stands exhibiting everything from portaloo's to Full blown stages!

On the hire side of things, we have rented a variey of sound systems across London to different companies this week including Inland Homes, Berkshire independent Hospital, Natives @ Earls Court, emc3, London Wedding DJ and Event technologies Ltd amongst many others.

London Based entertainment provider OPERA BESPOKE once again chose HEATHROW SOUND HIRE to supply a PA system and Sound engineer for their 'Singing Waiters' performance at Brocket Hall.

The 'Singing Waiters' masqeurade as waiting staff so as not to arouse suspicion and then burst into song to give an impressive and entertaining show to the unsuspecting guests.

This requires a discreet but high quality Sound system.

We supplied a pair of D&B Audiotechnik E3 speakers, 2 Sennheiser ew500-945 g3 radio microphones and a Yamaha LS9 - 16 digaital desk to cover the 120 strong audience.

We shall shortly be taking delivery if the Allen & Heath iLive T112 control surface with IDR48 mix rack into our hire stock.

This IDR48 offers 48 inputs and 16 outputs, all sent over cat5 cable to the T112 surface.

The surface offers 112 control strips across 3 banks and 4 layers of 28 faders.

The IDR48 mic rack can even be controlled directly form a laptop, omitting the need for the control surface where space is at a minimum.

In late July 2011, we were delighted to supply PA and DJ equipment to the Bugjam 25 festival, held at Santapod Raceway.

We were asked to hire a Void Arcline Line Array system to cover an audience of 3000 people in the Retro Arena.

4 Arcline 6 mid / top cabinets per side along with a centre cluster of 8 Arcline X Subwoofers covered this with ease.

The system was powered by our usual Powersoft K series Amplifiers with built in DSP.

Front of house mixing desk was a Yamaha ls9 - 32.

Programme material was a mixture of Live Bands and dj's aswell comedians during the afternoon.

Dj equipment was also supplied by us including Pioneer cdj100mk3's cd decks, Pioneer djm800 mixers and Technics sl1210mk2 turnatbles.
